Part of the Nomadica Village
Learning through
real life, real places,
real projects
Nomadica Learning is the education pathway for families living beyond the old model — combining project-led learning, global experiences, mentorship, and real-world skill building for children and teens.
The educational heart of the Nomadica Village
Nomadica Learning supports real-world, project-based, place-based and mentor-supported learning for children, tweens and teens. It gives families a clear structure for turning real-world experiences into visible, meaningful growth — without making it feel like traditional school.
Travelling can be full of learning, but much of that learning stays invisible. Nomadica helps learners turn travel experiences into inquiry, projects, skill growth, reflection, and portfolio evidence.
What learners build
Each destination produces real, visible evidence of learning — not a report card, but a living record of growth.
Exploration Question
Each learner develops a personal inquiry question connected to the destination — grounded in their own interests, not a pre-set topic.
Artifacts
Meaningful pieces of work that capture what the learner is noticing, thinking, and creating — written, visual, audio, or prototype-based.
Destination Portfolio
A collection of visible learning from that place — showing the learner's question, experiences, skill growth, reflections, and created work.
Final Creation
The culminating project for each destination — a documentary, podcast, guidebook, prototype, photo essay, or community proposal. Real work, not busy work.
How it works
Families join through the Nomadica Village. Each destination has a Guide, a shared question, and an individual project pathway for every learner.
Join the Nomadica Village
When a family joins Nomadica, they receive access to the Nomadica Learning Platform — including a family profile, learner profiles, and a dashboard to manage their learning journey.
Sign up for a destination
Families choose a specific Destination Base and receive a Destination Access Code that connects them to an on-site Guide and the shared location experience.
Connect learners to the base
Each learner is added to the Destination Base and begins their personal project setup — choosing their Exploration Question, Trail, Future-Ready Skills, and Final Creation type.
Participate in Field Experiences
Learners take part in shared Field Experiences — markets, nature walks, cultural sites, local mentors, community visits — then connect what they discover to their own inquiry.
Build and reflect on Async Days
On project days, learners work independently with 1:1 support from the on-site Guide and weekly feedback from the remote Nomadica educator. Learning is documented and made visible.
Future-Ready Skills
Learners don't just learn about these skills — they practise them in real situations, in real places, through real projects.
